We've been 'rather mum' on our website these past few months, but that doesn't mean the Jackson's View Team hasn't been busy! Since our first (and, up until today, our last...) post here on Jackson's Blog, we've been working behind the scenes, all in preparation for Today... And we're excited to announce that as of just a few hours ago, Jackson's View has one of the first official FAA (Part 107) Certified Remote Pilots in the nation! Our Pilot-In-Command (as the FAA likes to call them) successfully passed the Part 107 Remote Pilot Knowledge Exam just this morning, on the very first day the complete exam was made available to the public. This marks an inaugural day for both the FAA and for Jackson's View Aeriography, as we can now officially launch our Commercial Aerial Media Services to the Public-At-Large! We've been preparing for nearly two years to be able to get to this point, and we're excited to see how our services get put to future use. The potential applications for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASes) is only starting to take shape, and as the technology evolves, we look forward to continuing our passion for bringing Great Tech, Great Views and Great Stories to all our fans, friends and family! Thanks to all of you who've shown all the support you have (over nearly 4 years now!) in helping JVA to get to where we are today. Jackson's View started with just a baby Mockingbird, but It Takes A Village... ;-)
